a. What machines (or systems) do you use in your daily life where there is still room for improvement?

In my daily use I use a PC in my home and a Laptop for my work purpose. When I'm in my Home i mostly use my PC only. Because it is relatively convenient and more faster than my laptop. Laptop I just use it when i travel fro my work. And also i use my iPhone for my personal purpose. At time i use it for productivity and other work related activities such as using it for my office purpose or some other things. But I use my iPhone for my personal all the time in my daily use. These are the only machines i use in my daily use. And I don;t think there is a room for improvement in my usage because I optimally use them as per my requirement and as per my Work so there won't be any improvements or escalation in my current usage.

b. Are the current generation Windows PC and Apple Mac as usable as they might be?

Yes, Both the current generations PC and MAC are usable as they are marketed. But PC is more economical to purchase and maintain, whereas we all know that buying MAC is expensive and so does its maintenance. But coming to the performance matter Mac has much more faster and smoother performance when compared to PC's. Under PC's we have only gaming PC's that are giving equivalent performance as MAC.

c. Is the World Wide Web as usable as it might be? Are we just beginning to see some breakthroughs in usability or have most of the big improvements already been made?

Yes, The world wide web is really usable in our daily life. The World Wide Web was designed originally as an interactive world of shared information through which people could communicate with each other and with machines. Since its inception in 1989 it has grown initially as a medium for the broadcast of read-only material from heavily loaded corporate servers to the mass of Internet connected consumers. Recent commercial interest its use within the organization under the "Intranet" buzzword takes it into the domain of smaller, closed, groups, in which greater trust allows more interaction. In the future we look toward the web becoming a tool for even smaller groups, families, and personal information systems. Other interesting developments would be the increasingly interactive nature of the interface to the user, and the increasing use of machine-readable information with defined semantics allowing more advanced machine processing of global information, including machine-readable signed assertions.
