Answer #1

Scenario 3 it is the famous willow tree experiment conducted by the scientist John Baptist van helmont in 1648 with the scientific approach he wanted to set theory with the above experiment that plants grow only with water as it is said in experiment that after five years when he emptied pot removing soil from trees roots and weighed the soil and the tree then he observed that tree has gained weight but soil lost little weight So he concluded that tree had grown from water and not from the soil but of course Halmont conclusion is wrong because although water is important for plants but there are other chemicals also, mostly gases available from environment and small quantity of nutrients are available only through soil for plant to grow.

Scenario 4 .as soon as grandmas body enters inside the soil ,the decomposers start their actions on it hence the dead matter is converted into their source food .as long as there is Oxygen inside the soil, the carbon atoms in grandmas body are converted into carbon dioxide through those decomposers via cellular respiration now this carbon dioxide produced will be taken by plants then carbon is taken to the stomata of leaves of plant and by the Calvin cycle hydrogen and oxygen atoms produced are added to create glucose and fructose which in turn is used to make tree cellulose a form of carbon. now when the leaves of this tree are eaten by deer are rabbits then quotes by feeding upon them will eventually acquire that digested carbon from the body.
