Answer #1

Given is :-

AV = 1.2 x 10°

Q= -190

Now,

part - a

The work done by the charge is given by

W = Q XAV

by plugging all the values we get

W = (19) x (1.2 x 10)

which gives us

W = 2.28 x 1010

Part - b

Using the change in kinetic energy equals to the work done, we get

ARE=W

or

m(v2 – ) = 2.28 x 1010 J

or

(1100kg)(02 – (0)2) = 2.28 x 1010 J

which gives us

v = 6438.52m/s

Part - c

W = mc(AT)

by plugging the values we get

2.28 x 1010 J = m(4186J/kg) (100C - 0C)

which gives us

m = 54467.272kg
