Group dynamics form the factors of relevance when we need to consider how the interpersonal relationship facts between the group affect the aspect of cohesion, synergy, and productivity in general. We can say that in order to be able to recognize the function of importance, we need to understand the group’s dynamics, especially when we are in a leadership position. Not only would group dynamics affect the individuals but the performance factors of the entire group would be affected as a result. It can help a leader with conflict management skills as well as help them better achieve the goals of the company by being able to motivate the employees better. Group dynamics are also relevant when we need to recognize the need for adopting a change, how the change would be received, how it would be implemented or if any resistance or friction is present with respect to the changes. Group dynamics are the basis over which the aspect of creativity, conflict resolution, motivation and synergy resides and therefore, is a matter of relevance in terms of the organization's goals and the needs of the project as well.
