  1. Frank's ineffectiveness was largely due to people problems and consistent interruptions, unpredictable changes and complex problems, lack of prioritizing.
  2. Franks conflict resolution style has opennes and genuineness and has good empathetic help for members however he has been micromanager and lacked imbibing collaboration between teams.
  3. Different departments relied heavily on engineers and their non availability caused great problems. Various departments started passing in responsibilities to other departments which caused conflicting views and delayed production cycle.
  4. Custom Chip has flatter organisation structure which faciltates easiwr decisions making and time to market. However over expansion and multiple product line leads to scattered teams across locations and thus collaboration between them is tedious task and downside.
  5. Frank must eliminate cubicles and create open door culture and link collaboration to compensation for teamintegration and clearly define roles amd responsibilities of each set of enginners.
