Answer:- Process specification can be defined as a tool which is employed for documenting, evaluating and elaborating the logic behind any kind of decision making and different types of formula are used to obtain the data at the output from the processing of data provided at the input. In order to have a clear and comprehensive process specification, it is important to the high quality and consistent form of data.

In the most common form, process specification can e defined as specifications about a certain process. This is not only limited to the business activity but can also be extended up to organizational activity. Process specification is mainly the elaboration of different processes which are to be performed by a performer within the basic level of any business activity.

This is a process which provides us the information about the different activities to be performed to convert the input into output.

Answer:- Process capability can be defined as the consistency and reoccurrence of a certain production process in comparison to the requirements of the customers with respect to the specification limitations of certain product attributes. This is mainly used in order to find out whether or not all the requirements are being fulfilled by the product.

Example:- Let us consider a sales fulfillment team which has the main objective of reducing the shipment for all those orders which have to be shipped immediately. This team completely analyze the process with the help of control charts and then different variables are determined and removed from the process which can result in process variation. After this, the team determines the process capabilities and then the results are utilized to fix the target for the delivery for different locations. With the help of a better understanding of their process capability, they can provide a good estimation of the delivery to the customers.

Answer:- Control charts are also defined as Shewhart chart or process behavior charts. These charts are mainly the graphs which are employed by the users to analyze the changes in a certain process over a certain time period. The plotting of data is done for different time periods. There will always be a central line in each control chart to represent the average, upper line for the presentation of upper control limit and lower line for representing the lower control limit. All these are estimated with the help of historical data. By having a comparison of the present data with these limits, one can have a clear picture of whether the process is in control or out of control.
