World Trade Organization WTO is an International body which regulates the trade between countries of the world. It has HQ in Geneva, Switzerland. There are currently approx 47 Developing nations falls under WTO.

WTO helps developing nations in many ways, few of them are

  • WTO agreements contais some special provisions for developing nations
  • It includes many provisions to promote trade and removing trade obstacles
  • Ensuring proper trading opportunities by making trade blocs
  • Support in terms of dispute, trade regulations, technical know-how, infrastructure etc,
