Ans : B) Both molecules have Hydrogen bonding

Both 1-Octanol and 1-Butanol are primary alcohol compounds that have a terminal hydroxyl group having a very polar oxygen atom. This oxygen atom forms a hydrogen bond with the hydrogen of the another molecule.

So both the compounds possess hydrogen bonding in them due to which they have relatively high boiling points.
