Answer #1

The palm contains lines, wrinkles which are a type of secondary line and epidermal ridges. The thing that makes a palm print different from finger print is that it also contains texture, marks and indents which are not found in finger prints. In finger print detection, the pattern of thumb print is checked while in palm print recognition, pattern of palm veins are detected.
