Donald Duck’s nephews are making a presentation to their class on the occurrence inappropriate duck references in music. To illustrate their point, the nephews play a series of music videos. Explain how one would argue that their use of music videos constitute a “fair use” of the copyright material.

Since the music videos were being used by the nephews to explain the point of inappropriate references of ducks in music, it was a fair use of the copyrighted material. The fair use of any copyrighted material allows its users to criticize, discuss or comment upon it. Therefore, the nephews were using the copyrighted material fairly.

Had the nephews used the material to sell or for other commercial purposes, it would have been a violation of the fair usage.
