The following symptoms and the lab values clearly confirm that the person has hyperthyroidism. This is a condition where the thyroid gland becomes overactive and produces too much of hormone. This coaxes the other organs to work more and hence there is weight loss and increased heart beat. Due to large production of thyroid hormone it accumulates in the dorm of a mass near the neck area. Normal hyperthyroidism is diagnosed by low tsh values and high t3, t4 values. Any change in t3, t4 can help in determining whether it's an autoimmune disorder or not.
