b) Balanced equatiorn In this reaction BaCrO4 precipitate is formed. It is yellow colored precipitate. If we add 6M HCl to the above mixture orange precipitate will be formed. The orange precipitate is barium dichromate(BaCrO,) 4)a) In test tube 2 more amount of CaC,O4 formed when compare with test tube 1. Because K2C204 is strong electrolyte and it is dissociated completely to produce more amount of C,0- ions. But H,C,0 is weak electrolyte, it is dissociated partially and will produce small amount of C,0 K, of H C,O, is very small so small amount of C, will produced from H,C0 κ.CO4(aq) → 2K' (aq) +C.ος (aaj) In this case all the K,C2 is dissociated into ions, large amount of C,0 produced. Hence much more CaC^04 can be produced in test tube 2.
