Given that ,

For biology quiz,

mean = \mu = 75

standard deviation = \sigma = 3

x = 80

z = (x - \mu ) / \sigma

= ( 80 - 75 ) / 3

= 1.67

For Spanish quiz,

mean = \mu = 10

standard deviation = \sigma = 1.1

x = 12

z = (x - \mu ) / \sigma

= ( 12 - 10 ) / 1.1

= 1.82

Therefore,

The z-score of Spanish quiz result is greater than the biology quiz result.then,

The Spanish quiz is relatively better.
