Ans) Wu brew which was launched in 2013, being an environmental friendly coffee it had it's own benefits. Thus even with the heavy regulations it still had it's own strengths of survival. Many studies were carried out in order to understand and learn about the Costa Rican, environmentally sound way of producing coffee and the new efforts that highlighted the cause as well as served as a learning opportunity for students.
The company states that it imports high quality coffee beans from Las Lajas, Costa Rica for production of the coffee, and that it can be easily order online. A part of the purchase of the coffee supports research and service learning opportunities for students working with the farmers in Las Lajas. As per the studies carried out by the company, it is known that the coffee is grown under the shade trees to preserve bird habitats without pesticides or herbicides in order to keep the coffee as organic as possible.
