Answer #1

Authoritative Parenting Style

In an authoritative parenting style, parents are highly demanding as they exert control over their child's behavior and are also highly responsive to the needs of their child. For this example, an authoritative parent would discipline their child by establishing rules to stop her from throwing a fit, but also understand that she needs to play because she have not played the swing yet, so they will allow her to play for some time.

Authoritarian Parenting style

In an authoritarian parenting style, parents are highly demanding from their child for the expected behaviors but are low in responsiveness to their needs. For this example, an authoritarian parent would warn their child to immediately stop her angry expressing behaviors and will not allow her to play for extra time and demand her to leave immediately.

Permissive Parenting Style

In a permissive parenting style, parents are less demanding from their child as they do not establish strict rules, but have high responsiveness towards their child's needs. For this example, a permissive parent would not warn or demand their child to stop her anger expressive behaviors and will allow her play without asking her to leave.

Neglectful Parenting Style

In a neglectful parenting style, parents are less demanding from their children as they are not involved with them and they also have less responsiveness towards their children's needs. For this example, a neglectful parent would not control their child's anger expressive behavior and would not demand their child to leave or may not demand her to leave.
