Answer #1

14.

Vitamin D

It requires exposure to sunlight (UV rays) to get activated (conversion of inactive precursor form 7-dehydrocholesterol to cholecalciferol (vitD3).which then converted into active form 1,25 dihydroxyvitamin D3 (calcitriol) in the kidney

Calcitriol plays major role in regulating Calicium and phosphate level(during low blood Calcium level ,it increases absorption of calcium and phosphorus from intestine and also reabsorption from kidney inorder to increase Calcium and phosphorus level

15.

KERATINIZED STRATIFIED SQUAMOUS EPITHELIUM

it is present mainly in Palm of hand ,sole of foot and mucosa of oral cavity including Doral surface of tongue

16.FALSE

An organ is made up of different types of tissue

Example: heart is made up of cardiac muscle and connective tissues

Cardiac muscle is myocardium and there are two types specialized myocardium which includes SA node ,AV node , bundle branches and Purkinje fibres & generalized myocardium which form champers of heart

Connective tissue are endocardium { which form inner coating of champers( mural endocardium) and cusps and leaflets of valves(valvular endocardium)} & pericardium which form outer covering of heart

17. STRATUM CORNEUM

it is the outermost layer of skin consist of 18-20 layers of anucleated KERATINIZED deadcell so option A is the answer

18.Option B

All connective tissue have three common features

They are CELL , PROTEIN FIBRES AND GROUND SUBSTANCE

cell - it can be any type of cell

Fibres- there are three types ,collagen fibres

Elastic fibres

Reticular fibres

Ground substance which is clear colour less fluid which will fill gap between fibres and cell

19.STRUCTURES OF NAIL

1.distal edge of nail plate

2.lateranl nail fold ( paronychium)

3.lanula

4.Nail plate

5 .cuticle (eponychium)

20.epithelium consist of keratinized stratified squamous epithelium so option C
