In butanol there is alchohol group and hence the hydrogen which is attached to oxygen will form hydrogen bonding and hence the boiling point increases. Because the H-bonding is strong enough.

Now in diethyl ether there is no H bonding possible because O is not attached to any Hydrogen. Hence no H-bonding.

Hence the boiling point of butanol is more than diethyl ether.
