Grignard reagents are highly reactive.It is basic in nature
Thus when alcohol is used as solvent it will react with
acidic protons present in alcohols. Also when water is
used the reagent will react and form alkane. Since ether
does not have acidic protons there will be no reaction between
grignard reagent and ether.

In butanol there is strong inter molecular force of attraction
between molecules due to the presence of hydrogen bonding.
The compound with stronger intermolecular force will have
higher boiling points. ether and pentane does not have hydrogen
bonds. Thus butanol has highest B.P among the three.
