The period of pendulum is given as

T = 2$\pi$ sqrt (L / g)

so,

T is inversely proportional to $\sqrt{g}$

as compared to mars vs earth,  $\sqrt{g}$ = $\sqrt{0.37}$ = 0.608

so,

period on mars, T = 1.71 / 0.608

T = 2.8 sec
