sample size, n= 250

sample proportion, p_hat= 87/250= 0.348

population proportion, p= 25%= 0.25

Z_stat= (p_hat-p) / sqrt(p(1-p)/n)

= (0.348-0.25)/ sqrt(0.25*0.75/250)

= 0.098 / 0.02738613

= 3.578454 or 3.58
