Scarcity is the basic economic problem, indicating the excess wants over limited resources available.

It becomes a serious problem, since the user of resources has to find the way for minimizing or eliminating such gap.

In the recent Coronavirus outbreak, I have faced scarcity of hand-sanitizer in medical shops. It is suddenly out of market because so many people are demanding at a time. Since supply is limited in the short-run, such excess demand cannot be fulfilled completely, making a scarcity.

3.

Method of overcoming: I overcome the situation by starting washing hands frequently through hand-washer. This becomes a substitute method to cope up scarcity and Coronavirus.
