Some are the fact that students need to remember about the equilibrium shifting.

a) Since the reaction is the exothermic reaction then the lowering the temperature will shift the equilibrium in the backward/reverse direction.

b) If we remove the chlorine gas from the reaction mixture then the value Q(quotient) for the reaction at that concentration will be less than the value of the equilibrium constant then the equilibrium will shift in forward direction to compensate it.

c) If we lower the pressure of the gas then the value Q(quotient) for the reaction at that pressure  will be more than the value of the equilibrium constant then the equilibrium will shift in backward direction to compensate it.

d) Adding of the catalyst does not shift the equilibrium  but the bring the equilibrium of the reaction fast or early the before.
