Compression = x = 2 mm

spring constant = k = 500N/mm

Force impinged on spring = F = Kx = 500 N/mm x 2mm = 1000N

Force = rare of change of momentum = density x Q x v = d x 0.60 m^3/S x 5m/s

1000 N = d x 0.60 m^3/S x 5 m/s

d = 1000N/ ( 0.60 m^3/S x 5 m/s) = 333.3 Kg/m^3
