4.a) impulse= force*time =150*(10-5)= 750 N.s

b) when force was applied the acceleration (a )oft cart = force/mass= 150/75= 2m/s^2 [ it is decceleation]

Speed of the cart u= at [equation of motion

v= u-at,final speed is zero]

u=2*15=30 m/ s.

c) if F= 150*1/3= 50N then a= 50/75= 2/3

From equation v= u-at

Or 0=30-2/3* t

Or t=30*3/2= 45 s
