The Trolley Problem:

A trolley is hurtling down a track towards five people.

You are on a bridge under which it will pass, and you can stop it by dropping a

heavy weight in front of it. As it happens, there is a very fat man next to you – your

only way to stop the trolley is to push him over the bridge and onto the track,

killing him to save five. Should you proceed?

Answer #1

The trolley problem:

Should I proceed? This seems like an entirely subjective question. Is it not?

My answer:

No, I shouldn't. As a matter of fact, we're in a situation here, we're in a situation where, had I not been present in the situation, everything would've gone the way it would. But, just because we happen to be at a place at a time, doesn't give us the opportunity or let's say an event to decide the fate of another 3rd party, who is just a bystander. I shouldn't and I wouldn't. It is a MURDER.

(Joke) If you're so curious to change the face of life and death for other people, why not jump yourself and save the FIVE. you have got the authority over your own life, and not someone else's. So, Peace OUT.

Jokes apart.
