Answer #1

170 grams of Al2O3

Balanced chemical reaction is:

4 Al (s) + 3 O2 (g) -----> 2 Al2O3 (s)

moles of oxygen reacted = (80 g) / (32 g/mol) = 2.5 mol

Here; Al reacted in stoichiometric amount.

So;

No. of moles of Al2O3 produced = (2 / 3) x 2.5 mol = 1.667 ol of Al2O3

weight of Al2O3 produced = (1.667 mol) x (102 g/mol) = 170 grams of Al2O3
