Answer #1

Since Force Fp is acting at an angle ,we have to split it into its components

Given the surface is frictionless ,so we don't need sine component of force Fp

The force that causes acceleration is cosine component of Force Fp

Net Force =Mass*acceleration

Fpcost ma

Mass, m=\frac{F_{p}cos\theta }{a}

ANSWER: Option D. {\color{Red} \frac{F_{p}cos\theta }{a}}
