Concentration of substrate , temperature and pH will affect the activity of enzyme . Enzyme requires a particular temperature to show its activity and optimum pH as well .

PTU will remove copper , a potential cofactor of catechol oxidase . It will bind to copper ions and inhibit the activity of copper oxidase .
