One gram in one liter denotes 1000ppm solution

i.e. 0.001gm in 1000 ml represent 1ppm

Let's convert this solution first to grams /liter

We have 0.039 grams in 100 ml water

So 0.39 grams in 1000ml water

i.e. 0.39grams per liter

since 1g/l denotes 1000 ppm

So 0.39 grams/ liter= 390 ppm

so this solution has concentration of 390 ppm( parts per million)
