Python installation:

  1. Install Python 3 as described here. (We will work with Windows PC's.)
  2. Launch IDLE
  3. Enter the program listed in the attached file: "First program in IDLE".
  4. Save a "ProgA.py"
  5. Debug until code runs correctly.
  6. Take a screenshot of the correct output
  7. Save as "YourLastName_IDLE1.png"
  8. Upload here

How do you debug

There is not much, which we can do here except for guiding you. You need to follow the instructions and do it on your system..

1. Go to https://www.python.org/downloads/ and download the latest executable of python for your system.

2. Install the executable.. Once installed, Open the command line on your system, and type "python". It should open a python shell, which means python is successfully installed.

3. Then in start menu, you can search for IDLE, like below:

4. Open IDLE, and then from File menu in IDLE, Click new file, and then Save your Python code in that file.

Once saved, You can run it from File Menu, By Clicking on Run -> Then Run Module.

You will get the above output..
