Proprioception is the sense of body position that are perceived in both conscious and unconscious levels.

Proprioception is perceived by Tarsal column and part by the spinocervical tract. Finally the cortex of brain is responsible for proprioceptiion.

Cutaneous input of the upper limb is perceived by cuneate nuclei and lower limb is perceived by gracile nuclei. These nucleus are located in dorsal column nuclei.
