Software engineering systems used in Telecommunications and various industries are a sbelow:

1. ERP used for purchase order generating and procurement of raw materials for Middle management.
2. DSS for data analytics and Decision making for senior management
3. Artificial intelligence for predictive maintainence, plant checkups, automated refilling, inventory management for plant operations team.

The biggest challenge is high cost of implementation of these systems and skilled manpower for operating the sytemsalongwith data integration and convergence which creates additional delays.
