Since we have to find out the weakness and strength of september and year to date of factory overhead . your answer is correct but explanation is also required.

Strength of september

kitchen wages and utilities . since in both of the cases budgeted expense is more than the actual expense. it meansactual expenses are less than the budget . therefore they are the strengths of month september.

weakness

food and supplies - as in this type of overhead actual expenditure oare more than the budgeted expenses.

year to date

strength

kitchen wages is the gainer as actual amount spent is less than the amount budgeted for the same.

weakness

Food , supplies and utilities can be considered as weakness as actual amount is more than the budgeted expense.
