Find the total capacitance in micro farads of the combination of capacitors shown in the figure below.
from fig, 5uF and 3.5 uF capacitors in series so equivalent capacitance of these will be :
1/ C' = (1/ 3.5) + (1/ 5)
C' = 2.058 uF
from fig, 0.75 uF and 15 uF are in parallel so its equivalent capacitance = 0.75 + 15 = 15.75 uF
this 15.75 uF are in series with be 1.5 uF so its equivalent capacitance , 1/ C'' = 1/ 15.75 + 1/1.5
C'' = 1.369 F
now C' and C'' , 8 uF will be in parallel ,so total capacitance of this circuit = 2.058 uF + 1.369 F + 8 uF = 11.427 uF
