1. Vessel 3 is older than burial Y because burial Y lies in the layer J and vessel 3 in the layer M. Since layer J crosscuts the layer M. So layer M is older than J. Hence vessel 3 is older than burial Y.

2. Since the wall cross cuts layer I, J, K and M. So the wall is younger than these layers. Hence the wall is younger than burial Y which is in layer J.

3. Ceramic vessel 5 is younger because it lies in the layer Q which cross cuts the layer R and layer U that contain vessels 4 and 6
