The Moors and Jews played a major role in how the British colonial ambitions were constrained as in the year 1492, there were major three events seen in the Spain that led to colonization. As the Muslim or Moors fell to the Christian Reconquista, there was massive expulsion of the Jews and Moors and hence it foiled the attempt by British to colonize America. There was fight against the Moors and it was aimed at bringing more Christianity. This started a justified war for liberation and armed confrontation was something that was asked from the Moors who were found to be part of infidelity.
