Weight of box W_B=m_B g   

Net torque about the point of support O is zero,

W_R*A=W_B*B

m_Rg*A=m_Bg*B

m_B=\frac{m_RA}{B}=\frac{29*9}{12}=21.75\,kg

Net upward force on the rod is equal to net downward force.

T=W_R+W_B=m_R g+m_Bg=29*9.8+21.75*9.8=497.35\,N

A) Tension T=497.35\,N

B) Box mass m_B=21.75\,kg
