How would you make use of the clock when designing your software system in the insulin pump?
Clock is very important thing in software systems which are working 24 hours.
Insulin pump is used by diabetes patients to maintain their blood glucose levels
Now lets us see where clock can can be used in software system in insulin pump.
1) Insulin is pumped in to body by insulin pump on a regular interval. To set at how much intervals insulin need to be pumped we need a device to measure time interval here is where clock is useful.
Clock help us measure time interval. so that at regular insulin should be supplied.
2) Another use of clock can be made to remind the diabetes patient to reconnect the insulin pump by setting up alarm
when the patient is away from the insulin pump for a certain time this can be done with the help of clock.
3) clock can be also be used to cut off supply of insulin if the pump fails and continues to pump insulin.
here the clock will have certain timeout set where if the insulin pump continues to supply insulin beyond certain period of time then the clock cuts off the supply.

Designing a Traffic Light Controller [50 pts] [Your originality, thinking method and execution would be graded] In Gotham city, traffic lights have three outputs as Red (R), Yellow (Y) or Green (G). Let's assume you're given a microchip with clock input 0.2 Hz. As you know.cars can travel when the light is Green and should not pass the traffic light when the light is Yellow or Red. We are asked to design the traffic light controller in the busiest road...
2) You are designing a pendulum clock to have a period of 0.75s. How long should the pendulum be? (0.14m) How much should the pendulum bob (the mass at the end) weigh? (Does not matter. T is independent of mass of the pendulum.)
what decisions must a managerial accountant make when designing a cost accounting system? What are the physical characteristics of production that would cause management to choose a job order costing system?
How would you make a toggle button in Logisim? Using a clock, a toggle button that simply pressing should change the output, and then by pressing down again should change it back? So starting at output 0: Press: 1, Release: 1, Press: 0, Release 0
Designing Compensation Systems When designing a compensation system for an organization, it is important to have a compensation philosophy which serves as a framework for making decisions about various components of the system. Tasks: One question to be addressed is how can your compensation program help the organization be successful (e.g., be able to attract and retain talented workers needed to be competitive in the marketplace)?
Stages in Software Development Process How do you use this 6 Stages when you developing your program: 1. Analyze, 2. Specifications, 3. Design, 4. Implement, 5. Test/Debug, 6. Maintain & Update
In your Critical Thinking, How would you protect patient information? Would you make your information public if you knew it would make healthcare cheaper? Do you think health information is different from other information we share, and if so, why? Who do you think should access to patient’s records? What do you think would happen if an entire EHR system got destroyed? How would you handle something like that in a clinic?
Part 1. The insulin pump is a device that delivers insulin to a diabetic patient at regular intervals. It presumably regulates insulin better than standard injections. However, data to establish this point are few, especially in children. The following study was set up to assess the effect of use of the insulin pump on HbgA1c, which is a long-term marker of compliance with insulin protocols. In general, a normal range for HgbA1c is <7%. Data were collected on 256 diabetic...
What is the purpose of financial forecasting and how would you use proformas to make your small business more successful? Provide details and at least two examples in your response.
Suppose you were designing a rainwater catchment system for a remote house on an island. Your roof has a total area of 520 square feet, with gutters that catch any water falling on the roof and feed it to a large cistern. How large a capacity would your cistern need to have to capture all the water that falls during 6 months if the total rainfall rate was 75 inches/year? Give your answer in gallons
