Answer #1

Given that genes for black eyes are dominant over genes for blue or grey eyes. The man with black eyes marries a woman  with light grey eyes. When B and bare taken as the alleles for eye color ,'BB' and 'Bb' will be the genotype for black or brown colored eye. Likewise only 'bb' (homozygous recessive) will be having grey or blue colored eyes. Here, the phenotype of the man is black colored eye and that of the women is light grey colored eye. Their children are with black and blue eyes. That is boy with 'Bb' ( alleles from each parents) and girl with 'bb' .So the genotypes of parents are,

Father- Bb (not 'bb' because girl chlld s with blue eye wihch is homozygous recesisve)

Mother-bb( This is because the girl child is blue eyed.)

Genotypes of the children-

Boy- Bb

Grl- bb

The cross is given along
