Write a Perl program that prompts a use to input a line of text.

If the line of text mentions both John and Smith, the program outputs “FOUND.” Otherwise, it outputs “NOT FOUND.”

I have written this program ignoring the cases. If you want the program to be case sensitive , just remove the lower case conversion and you can change the strings accordingly.
$a=<>;
$a = lc $a; //Converting to lowercase to ignore cases

$b = index($a, "john"); //You can change "john" to "John" if you want the search to be case sensitive.
$c= index($a,"smith");   
if($b!=-1 && $c!=-1) //If both strings are present in the string entered, FOUND is printed.
{
print("FOUND");
}
else //If even one of them is not there, NOT FOUND is printed.
{
print("NOT FOUND");
}

Here is the output:

hey my name is john and he is smith FOUN .. .Program finished with exit code 0 Press ENTER to exit console
