Tension in the strings will be constant.

And when string is pressed at different points then nodes will form at different locations that will result in different wavelengths so from the formula

Velocity of wave = frequency of wave × wavelength of wave

So if wavelength is changed by keeping velocity constant then frequency will also get changed that results in different nodes.
