Question 1: Interstellar space is not actually a perfect vacuum. Turns out there are clouds of atoms that roam these regions of space that are loosely held together by their combined gravity. Suppose there is a cloud with a number density of about 100 atoms/cm3 of neutral Hydrogen far away from any stars, bt with in the Milky Way galaxy. The temperature in this cloud is 100 KAsme each hydrogen atom is a hard sphere of radius 0.529 A (angstroms). If there is any other information needed for this problem you can use Appendix F or Dr. Google to gather information a) Estimate the pressure of this gas b) Estimate the average time between collisions for atoms in this gas.
