2. Data gathering is the process of gathering needed data from multiple sources. The best data gathering technique that can be incorporated in this situation are:
a. Questionnaire and Surveys from the customers
b. Observation from the past
c. Documents and Records which are already available
d. User ratings

3. I would use (a) Questionnaire and Surveys from the customers because this would help a lot in gathering end user requirements and classifying based on the needs.

4. Quantitative is (d) User ratings which can be categorized into different class of requirements and Qualitative is (a) for requirements fixing.
