Ans. Correlation is a statistical measure that indicates the extent to which two or more variables fluctuate together. A negative correlation is a relationship between two variables in which one variable increases as the other decreases, and vice versa. For example, as people get a good amount of sleep then they will feel less irritable or if a person gets less sleep then he or she will be more irritable. Whereas Positive correlation is a relationship between two variables such that when one variable decreases the other variable decreases or if one variable increases while the other also increases. For example, the chances of an accident increase if one consumes alcohol and drives.
