Answer #1

C4H10 mass = 4.00 g

C4H10 molar mass = 58 g/mol

moles of butane = 4 / 58 = 0.069

1 mol --------------------> 6.023 x 10^23 molecules of butane

0.69 mol ----------------> 0.69 x 6.023 x 10^23 molecules of butane = 4.15 x 10^22 molecules

number of carbon atoms = 4 x 4.15 x 10^22 = 1.66 x 10^23 atoms

carbon atoms = 1.66 x 10^23
