b) At 95% confidence interval the critical value is z* = 1.96

The 95% confidence interval is

\bar x +/- z* * a/Vn

= 33.3 +/- 1.96 * 23/V70

= 33.3 +/- 5.4

= 27.9, 38.7

Lower limit = 27.9
