Answer #1

One Gallon is equal to 3.785 Kilograms

Here the water in aquarium is 8.25 gallons

8.25 gallons = 8.25 x 3.875 = 31.96875 Kg

The weight of water placed in aquarium = 31.96875 kg

While on a camping trip, you would like to carry water from the lake to your campsite. You have two non- identical buckets which you attach to a 1.43 m long rod. Since the buckets are not identical, you find that the rod balances about a point 1.27 cm from its midpoint, as shown below. The weight of the rod and empty buckets are negligible compared to the weight of the water. Which bucket holds more water? bucket 2 1.27...

You have a 5.0 ml sample of a protein in 0.5M NaCI. You place the protein/salt sample inside dialysis tubing and place the bag in a large beaker of distilled water. Your goal is to remove as much NaCI from the sample as possible. Since you know that the final salt concentration will be the same inside the tubing as out, you can calculate the final concentration of the salt. If you decide to place the dialysis bag in 4.0...

You decide to jump from a height h above the flat surface of the trampoline, and you measure that you travel a distance h/4 downward after hitting the surface of the trampoline. In terms of known variables, determine the effective spring constant and the speed at which you hit the trampoline. I need the velocity.
