despite large electronegativity difference, it's covalent since beryllium ion will have too much charge density and it'll attract fluorine election cloud and therefore forms a polar covalent bond.

Hence bond will be Covalent.

Part B

because of the large electronegativity difference between Ca and Cl, the bond will be Ionic

Part C

there will be sharing of valence electron that is why bond between them will be Covalent.
