Traditions are basically the ways which tell us a path to live a meaningful life. Plato was an ancient Greek philosopher who showed the importance of traditions through various philosophical thoughts. He made various philosophical arguments which showed that traditions are important aspect of our life.
These traditional beliefs are passed from one generation to to another. No examination of these traditional belief is being done until a problematic situation starts arising in society. Ethical and moral beliefs are two important parts of such beliefs.
If these two values are not there then traditional beliefs can easily be discarded. Plato believed that tangible objects may create this world but these objects becomes vanished after some time. Real world is made by thoughts.
These thoughts and beliefs remain immortal and can be passed through many many years. Knowledge and true education can provide an ability to person so that he/she can interpret this world in a real meaningful manner.
Wisdom, courage and tolerance are remarkable feature of any traditional belief. These basic but important characteristic should not be missing from any culture. These are the values which creates a healthy and a well managed society.
