The ground state and first excited state wavefunctions for the harmonic oscillator are In what follows, it may be helpful to set: (a) Compute (x), (p), (2), and (p2) for both states by explicit integration. b) Check the uncertainty principle for both of these states. e) Compute (T) and (u)-but there should be no need to perform any new integrations! Is the sum expected?
